Mary Ann Bagnall

Mary Ann Bagnall was born about 1794 at Fall Ing, Sandal Magna, a daughter of George Bagnall (Senior) and his first wife Mary. She later married a Mr Braithwaite. She died 26 May 1863 in Wakefield (registered Q2 1863, GRO ref 9c 13), and is remembered as "Mary Braithwaite, daughter of the above" on her father's memorial at St Helen's Church, Sandal.

In the 1841 census she is recorded aged 50 with Elizabeth (aged 75) and Edward (aged 65) at Heights Hill, Birstall, Liversedge. By the 1851 census she was a widow, aged 56, living with her sister Sarah Bagnall and a niece, Jane Bagnall, at Upper Lane, Cleckheaton, Bradford.
