From Jane's baptism register entry (see below) we know she was born on 1836.

From this and the baptism records of some of Jane's siblings, we know that her father, William Bagnall (senior) was a foundry worker who worked at times as an iron moulder.

Died 1837, aged just 1 year

Sadly Jane died in infancy. she was buried at Wakefield on 7 May 1837, recorded in the parish burial register as her father William Bagnall's child, of Eastmoor.
