Anthony Frank Bagnall
Information kindly supplied by Caroline Dunlop (nee Bagnall).
During national service, Anthony served in Malaya and on the way to Malaya, his troop ship called at Durban for a day (they had to go round Africa due to Suez canal being closed at time). When in Durban, Dad looked up his uncle Ronald and spent day with him. Dad thinks that possibly he was the only family member to see Ronald after he emigrated. Almost all his working life, Anthony was a member of H.M. Customes & Excise. 50 years after his Malayan service, he was presented with a medal by Malaysian Government.
